Kate Upton says she’s single and not dating Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander.
In an interview on Valentine’s Day, the Sports Illustrated covergirl said she does not have a boyfriend.
She was asked about a report that she and Verlander rang in the New Year together. She responded “Actually, I'm single right now, so I spent my holiday in Melbourne” without explaining herself any further.

LeeAnn claims she went to Dr. Duane C. McKay for various dental work over 3 years, including veneers and crowns that were meant to treat her TMJ-related pain and improve her appearance. She claims that rather than helping, the dentist caused tremendous pain and bleeding.
LeAnn says she's had to undergo 9 root canals and bone grafting, as well as a temporary bridge and physical therapy.
She is seeking unspecified damages for physical, emotional and psychiatric injuries, and also wants money for loss of past and future earnings.
Katie Couric has been the victim of a cruel hoax over the last few months…at 2am, every Tuesday, a phone registered to her late husband calls 911.
Her husband (Jay Monahan) has been dead since 1998.
There have been 10 calls so far from the land line registered to Couric’s late husband. She’s kept his old line registered the entire time.
She called the NYPD Commissioner for help on this and to start an investigation. They think someone is illegally hijacking the phone using some sort of device.
Music pioneer Chubby Checker is suing the makers of an app that estimates the size of a man's penis.
The app's name is "The Chubby Checker".
The app promises to help users "assess prospective male partners based on their shoe size." Users type in the man's shoe size and the app estimates the length of the man's member. The app has been downloaded just 84 times and has long since been deleted.
But still, Chubby Checker is claiming that the app has done "irreparable damage and harm" to his name because it's now associated with "obscene sexual connotation and images".
No word on how much Chubby is asking for.

Mariel Hemingway recently premiered a new documentary about her family called “Running From Crazy,” that talks about her father’s abuse and her family’s suicidal habits.

Her grandfather, Ernest Hemingway (yes, the writer), was also a depressed man and a heavy drinker. He ended his own life by shooting himself in the head 52 years ago.
Ernest’s father and two siblings also killed themselves, and 15 years ago, Mariel’s sister Margaux, who was once the world’s highest-paid model, died from a drug overdose.
Her other sister, Joan, needs constant care for bipolar disease, and Mariel admitted that she has considered suicide herself.

Kate Gosselin and Kendra Wilkinson will trade lives for a new episode of “Celebrity Wife Swap.”
Gosselin will get to stay with Wilkinson's husband, former NFL wide receiver Hank Baskett and their 3-year-old son Hank while Wilkinson will become a single mother of Kate’s eight kids.
The episode will air February 26th on ABC at 8:00 p.m. EST.
Maggie Smith, who plays Dowager Countess on "Downton Abbey", tells CBS she has never watched the show.

Chris Brown thanked Adele for clearing up the rumors over their recent Grammy picture together.
The picture at this year's Grammys seemed to show Adele shouting at Chris Breezy. But Adele explained that they were actually exchanging positive words with each other.
Chris responded to Adele's comments by Tweeting: "Pleasure to meet u @OfficialAdele I heard your words and that's all that matters. Thank u for speaking truth. CB"
Beyoncé’s maternal uncle Roland Beyince says the singer’s name was inspired by his side of the family.
Roland says, “My sister Tina [Knowles] didn’t think we had enough boys in the family to keep the [Beyince] name going, so she gave Beyoncé our last name as the first name”.
She gave Beyoncé a similar name.
Adele is set to become a comic book character, along with Nicki Minaj and Robbie Williams. They will all appear in the Bluewater Comics “Fame” series.
The first comic to hit the stores is “Fame: Nicki Minaj,” which dropped this week. A drop date for the Adele and Robbie Williams books will be announced soon.
Bryan Adams and his partner Alicia Grimaldi welcomed their second baby girl in London earlier this week.
The couple named their daughter Lula Rosylea. She's joining her big sister Bunny, who is 22 months.
Adams said: “Lula Rosylea decided to arrive at tea time. Rosylea is cockney rhyming slang in London for ‘cup of tea’ and the name Lula comes from Gene Vincent‘s song ‘Be-Bop-A-Lula.’”
According to Jenny McCarthy, Josh Groban was scheduled as a guest on the first episode of her talk show, but he bailed after finding out about Jenny's sexy dancers on her set.
McCarthy said: "He did show up, but I think his team took a look at the go-go dancers and thought they were a little too sexy for their taste. I feel like even though Jay Leno is sexy and all, I wanted to bring some sexy girls like you'd see in a nightclub. My show is very much like a nightclub. Phillip Phillips' mother Sheryl Phillips was arrested for DUI in Georgia.
According to TMZ, police saw her swerving her van across lanes of traffic and pulled her over. They gave her a field sobriety test and Sheryl couldn’t finish it.
Cops took her to jail, then to a hospital, where doctors decided she was well enough to go back to jail.
** A source close to the family said that Phillip's parents split up last week. It's no secret that Phillip has had a strained relationship with his family and is refusing to help financially after their pawn shop went out of business.
