Lindsay Lohan was going to miss her court appearance today (Wednesday) in Los Angeles because she’s too sick to fly to LA from New York. But, she changed her mind after there were rumors that she would be arrested if she didn’t show up.
The actress was ordered to appear for a pre-trial hearing after her probation was revoked last month because she was charged with lying to police. Her new lawyer Mark Heller filed documents notifying the judge she is too ill to fly home from New York and included a doctor’s note.
There were rumors that she would be arrested if she didn’t show up especially since her cold didn’t stop her from going on a shopping spree over the weekend in New York City.
So.... she got a fight back to LA last night (Tuesday) and is expected to show up in court.
** Meantime, sources say Lindsay has been begging lawyer Shawn Holley to take her back as a client because she doesn’t like Heller.

After being engaged for about two years, the couple tied the knot in a highly private ceremony in Scotland in 2001.

** In addition to a decades-long acting career, Ashley Judd represented Tennessee as a delegate to the 2012 Democratic National Convention. Judd is also considering a political career. She would campaign against Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell in 2014.

Dustin Hoffman is accusing movie directors of numbing audiences with a "fraudulent" depiction of real life violence.
Hoffman also claims that directors discriminate against actors who refuse to use firearms onscreen.
He has always hated handling weapons onscreen and has only carried guns in a few of his movie roles.
The actor also said that his hatred of firearms began in the 1960s when a theatre colleague threatened to shoot him in a dispute over work.
He said, "I don't think people understand what it's like to have a gun pointed at you. When it happened to me (it was) after Kennedy (President John F. Kennedy) had just been assassinated…”
He added, “I remember thinking, 'I'm going to take a hit' and every second you are feeling the bullet go straight through you... You're in immediate shock. I've never forgotten that feeling..."

The Farrelly brothers’ comedy stars Hugh Jackman, Emma Stone, Halle Berry, Kate Winslet, Gerard Butler, Richard Gere and many more.
The movie bombed over the weekend taking in just $5 million and opening in seventh place. The critics aren’t big fans of it either, with one calling it the biggest waste of talent in cinema history.

Jon Bon Jovi says he turned down a chance to appear as a judge "The X Factor" and "American Idol" last year because he was too busy.
He also admitted he has a lot of sympathy for the contestants on TV talent shows because of the risk they take with their careers.
Jon said: "I had 23 years to write my first record. I was able to develop a career in bars, I would never have won any of those contests. You see them there and they can hit the high note and then a year later they're a trivia question. It's a big ask of these kids."
As for turning down the judge jobs, Bon Jovi said: "I was offered all of talent shows last year but it's not for me because I have a job and we're busy."

Frank Ocean wants Chris Brown charged for the now infamous brawl over a parking space at a Los Angeles recording studio over the weekend.
Chris is already serving five years probation and could have it revoked if charges are filed.
Witnesses claim that Chris punched Frank Ocean during the brief fight. No charges have been filed yet, but according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman, Frank "is desirous of prosecution in this incident."
No comment from Chris Brown or his camp.
According to TMZ, Chris Brown swears he didn't start the brawl with Frank Ocean and he wants to talk to cops about it.
Chris' lawyer has already called police and said Chris is ready to give them details because he knows he didn’t do anything wrong. The lawyer also claims to have surveillance video of the last part of the fight, which shows Chris isn’t throwing any punches.
But thing is that the video also clears Frank Ocean because he also never takes a swing at anyone. The fighting is between the two crews.
Justin Bieber seems to have groped a female fan during a picture, but his rep and the girl in the pic are denying he did anything.
In the pic, Justin has his arm around the shoulder of the fan and is kissing her cheek, but his other hand seems to be reaching for her chest.
The picture was on the bieberfever.com website for a minute before it was taken down, but by then, it was too late.
Speaking of the girl, she defended Justin by Tweeting: "IM DYING HAHAHAHHAHA IT LOOKS LIKE JUSTIN'S TOUCHING MY BOOB IN THE PICTURE AHAHAHAHHA. People can think what they want but I know what really happened & Justin does too so everyone else's opinions don't matter to me."
His rep said: "That definitely did not happen. He was pulling away from her."
Destiny’s Child isn’t confirming they will be reuniting this Sunday during Beyonce’s Super Bowl Halftime performance, but the evidence shows it will happen!
Michelle Williams did an interview where she said the reunion “is not confirmed,”–but that’s not what she really said. She also said that instead of being with Beyonce and Kelly Rowland, she would be performing in the musical "Fela!". But that's not entirely true.
According to omg! Insider, the Website for the venue where “Fela!” is playing clearly states: “PLEASE NOTE: Michelle Williams will not be appearing January 31st – 3rd.”
FYI: The Super Bowl is February 3rd!
No comment from Michelle Williams’ rep.
On being talented: "If you really don't enjoy the type of music I make and that's not you, OK. But don't say I'm not talented. If you haven't noticed, I wasn't made-I was found."
On his chart success: "'Believe Acoustic' is just an acoustic album of an album that I've already put out and it's going to go No. 1-that shows people that I'm still here and that talent rises above everything else. There's so much going on. Talent rises above all of that."
On his second album not doing so well: "They say there's a sophomore slump. I didn't have one. It was really good to see 'Believe' at the top. When I was going on all these different talk shows when it was the No. 1 album of the year, just hearing that: No. 1 album of the year, Justin Bieber? That's a really great feeling."
On not being nominated for a Grammy: "I felt the same way my manager Scooter felt. It's good that he can put it out there and say that. He had my back just like any manager would. My whole life I've dreamed of winning a Grammy. At this point, the excitement of that has gone down. I'm more excited to just make great music for my fans. That's just something that if it happens, it happens. I'm happy for the other artists who got nominated and have won Grammys. I'm 18 and I think that I have a lot ahead of me, so I'm not worried:"
On his career ending someday: "I don't think that I'm going to be boiling hot for the rest of my career. I think that, if I'm not on top. it would be because I didn't want to be. It would be a time when I wanted to take a break and do movies or take a break and raise a family. When I'm doing music and I'm really focused, I'm not going to not be where I am."
Whitney Houston's brother says he's the one to blame for introducing her to crack cocaine back in the '80s and not Bobby Brown.
Michael Houston sat down with Oprah Winfrey and admitted he was the first person who did drugs with Whitney. He feels extremely guilty for Whitney's death but he didn't realize how deadly drugs could be when he first brought them to Whitney.
He said: "You gotta understand at the time ... the '80s ... it was acceptable. It's painful ... I feel responsible for what I let go so far."
John Mayer was spotted having dinner with "Girls" star Allison Williams.
Spies say, at one point, "John had his arm around Allison's waist. They were [talking] together for a bit before leaving."
The two reportedly left and headed out to dinner at a Mexican joint, where they were joined by an unidentified companion.
"They were with another guy, but they seemed to be in an intense conversation the entire night, and were sitting across from each other at the booth-style table. … They stayed pretty late until the restaurant was clearing out."
A source close to the actress says she "is friends with John and Katy (Perry)," while a Mayer pal claims their merely "longtime friends."
According to Spotify, there's an increase in workout-related playlists in early January. No surprise, but what's interesting is the playlists. It turns out that men work out to hip hop while women work out to dance tracks.
Spotify analyzed over 2.8 million workout-related playlists and found that men workout to artists such as Eminem, Kanye West, and Jay-Z while dance tracks by Ke$ha, David Guetta, and Bruno Mars filled up female playlists.
Eminem's "'Till I Collapse." Kanye West's "Clique," Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop," and Swedish House Mafia's "Don't You Worry Child" topped the guy's workout tunes, and in that order.
Ke$ha's "Die Young" topped the workout tracks of the ladies, followed by will.i.am's "Scream & Shout," Calvin Harris' "Sweet Nothing," and David Guetta's "Titanium."
Looking at the playlists belonging to both sexes together, Ke$ha's "Die Young" is still in the top spot, followed by will.i.am's "Scream & Shout" and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop."

Mariah Carey's ex-husband, Tommy Mottola, opened up about mentoring his former wife and admitted that he need to have "obsessive" behavior to make her the star she is today.
He said: "I think that anyone that is successful becomes obsessive with what they are trying to succeed at. If it seemed like I was controlling, let me apologize. It was absolutely wrong and inappropriate for me to become involved with Mariah, and I'm not saying this because there was a generation gap; I should have listened to the piercing voice of my shrink and maintained my distance."
Mottola was also asked how he thinks Mariah Carey will react to his new autobiography.
He said: "I have nothing but the greatest respect for her in the world. She is one of the greatest singers and songwriters that has ever come along, so I feel great about all of the things that she has achieved as a result of all of the work that we did."

Mick Fleetwood promised Fleetwood Mac fans they will hear new material before the band's upcoming tour later this year.
Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, John McVie and Lindsey Buckingham are reuniting for a world tour starting in April to coincide with the 35th anniversary of their "Rumours" album.
Fleetwood said: "We decided, myself and Lindsey, went into the studio and created a calling card for Stevie letting her know we wanted to make new music. We had the greatest time and we made some really good music. Then her mother died and it wasn't time for her to be singing."
"Just recently though she has sung on three of them and we've recorded one original song of hers. So, we're going to go crazy and there will be something out that we will play onstage and that might become part of a long term plan over the next year. Our wish is going to come true and we will finish an album. I hope there is a demand for it, after we throw two or three songs out on the Internet, and we might make an album."
