Beyoncé, James Taylor and Kelly Clarkson will perform patriotic songs at the second inauguration of President Obama on Jan. 21.

All this will take place during the public swearing-in ceremonies on the Capitol steps, when President Obama delivers his second inaugural address.
Obama will officially take the oath of office at the White House on Jan. 20, as per the Constitution, but the repeat swearing-in ceremony, the inaugural parade, the lunch with Congress and the inaugural balls will take place on Monday.

Former professional cyclist Lance Armstrong will sit down for his first no-holds-barred interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The interview will take place at his home in Austin, Texas, and it will air on OWN on January 17th during a special 90-minute episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”
Armstrong will address the alleged doping scandal and charges of lying about the use of performance-enhancing drugs throughout his cycling career.
Armstrong, a seven-time Tour de France winner, was stripped of his titles and dropped from millions of dollars in endorsement deals.

“American Idol” execs shot down claims the feud between new judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj is fake.
Executive producer, Nigel Lythgoe, says, “Whatever feuds there have been — and this isn’t just between Nicki and Mariah but Keith (Urban) and Randy (Jackson) as well — are genuine.”
He added, “Whenever you’re in this sort of passionate situation, these things happen.”
Another exec also insisted that no one planned for the video of Mariah’s blow-up with Nicki Minaj to go viral and said, “there is passion in this group. They disagree about the talent, and the ways to approach the talent.”
They also denied that the series is coming close to an end, with 12 seasons under its belt.
They feel that the ratings are still great, even though they’ve gone down in recent years and that the show will stay fresh, thanks to the new judges.

The “In Living Color” reboot is dead.
The classic comedy's creator Keenen Ivory Wayans told the NY Post:
“The bar for ‘In Living Color’ is so high that, if I didn’t feel like we could sustain that, then I did not want to move forward.
“I just feel like we’re in a different time.
“The talent pool is different, and I don’t think that type of show works nowadays. The level of talent required doesn’t exist.
“Not that this generation isn’t talented, but they’re just talented in a different way.”
“The stars just didn’t align,” Kevin Reilly, Fox’s president of entertainment, said. “I think the pilot [made last year] was pretty funny, but it just didn’t feel like we had the players.
** The main problem was the network’s desire to create a new cast for the show even though members of the original cast — including Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx — were set to contribute.
Wayans explained, “They were all aboard if I wanted them to do something on the show,” said Wayans.
“And the [new] cast was really good. They were young and hungry . . . But the decision not to move forward was really about me saying, ‘Okay, but can we sustain?’

The beef between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj got heated after the two of them started arguing in front of a live audience of television journalists at yesterday's "American Idol" panel at the TCA winter press tour.
It all started after they were asked to say something nice about each other.
They even fought about their feud, with Mariah saying, "It was all one-sided," and Nicki cutting her off with, "No it wasn't."
The entire fight was told through the live-tweeting of the members of the Television Critics Association.
Did Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj kiss and make up yet? Not quite. The new judges were forced to address their issues during the 2013 Winter TCA tour yesterday and it got heated.
When asked how it got better between them, Nicki Minaj said: "I put on my sex tape."
Mariah followed the comment by saying: "And there it is. The whole thing is convoluted. It's a distraction from the show and a distraction from the contestants."
Nicki added: "And we watched my tape. We're professionals. Have you ever had an argument with someone you work with?"

OneRepublic will drop their third studio album on March 26th, It's called "Native". The lead single is called "If I Lose Myself".
Frontman Ryan Tedder said: "We're stoked to actually have this thing come out because we haven't put out an album in three years now and frankly I don't really want to do that again. I think the world's changed, musically and that's like the worst thing you can do as an artist today is to just disappear for three years. To just go away."
Rihanna called a fan a "weak bitch" on Instagram.
She responded to a comment on a picture she posted two weeks ago showing her in a dressing gown, possibly smoking marijuana.

It said: "And she is going to end like Whitney if she keep doing drugs like she's doing right now."
Rihanna replied by writing: "Yea cuz Whitney overdosed on a joint!! F**k outta here u weak bitch!"
No comment from Rih Rih or her camp.
One Direction have signed an interesting new contract that will penalize them all if one of them quits.
Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik have all agreed to the three-year contract and they won’t get their money unless all five members complete it.
A source said: “It’s a really clever contract that the boys have signed up to. It means they have a real incentive to tough it out and stick together. The formal length is for 36 months and an album a year – but the clever part is they get the big pay day after the three years. If one of them walks away before then, then all five miss out on the money. They don’t miss out on a few quid either, we are talking millions. They all get on really well, but it would be the kind of deal that would see them through the worst aggro possible.”

Chris Brown wants to perform with Rihanna at this year's Grammy Awards ceremony.
A source told RadarOnline.com, "Chris wants to perform with Rihanna at the Grammys to show the whole world they are back together. Chris doesn't care what the haters say, and wants to give the viewers an over the top performance with Rihanna."
"He wants the fans to know this is the real deal, and he is a changed man. If Rihanna can forgive him, the rest of the world should move on from what happened four years ago."
Producers of the Grammys haven't signed off on having Chris and Rihanna perform together.

A new investigation into the death of Amy Winehouse found that she died of accidental alcohol poisoning. The conclusion was the same as an earlier investigation that had to be thrown out because the coroner didn't have the right qualifications.
Amy battled alcohol and drug abuse for years. She was found dead at her home in London in 2011. She was 27.
A pathologist didn’t find any traces of pills in her stomach and her organs were to be normal.
