A source told the NY Post: “Justin and Selena had been fighting and on the verge of a breakup for about six months. She was constantly calling and checking on him when they were apart. It was causing a lot of tension between them.”

"The Jeffersons" star’s body was held at a funeral home while the courts ruled on a dispute between a man who claimed to be Hemsley's brother, and a friend who was named in his will.

Justin Bieber might be regretting talking highly about Selena Gomez in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that airs on November 25th.
On Friday, Bieber and Gomez ended their two-year relationship. Their "grueling schedules" are supposedly the reason for the break up.
A source told US Weekly: "Selena broke up with Justin about a week ago. It's been a really challenging experience over the last year because of their crazy schedules."
In the interview that was done a few weeks ago, Bieber claimed he was proud to be Selena's boyfriend.
He said: "I never make her separate from me because I don't want her to ever feel like I'm ashamed of her. I feel like a lot of guys do that, especially in the business. They don't want to be seen with the girl, so they'll make them ride in separate cars and do all that getaway stuff. We get away, we're getting away together."
The "Oprah's Next Chapter" interview with the Biebs premieres Sunday, November 25th on OWN.
RELATED: Justin's Behavior At The Victoria's Secret Show May Have Led To His Breakup With Selena Gomez
A source close to Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez says one of the reasons for their breakup could be Justin's behavior at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
He allegedly flirted with some of the Angels after the show and saw "The Lion King" in New York with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin.
On Friday, Selena tweeted a photo of Bieber and Palvin to her more than 13 million followers with the caption: "….."
Palvin also tweeted: "hey everyone. please calm down. he is all yours!! :) please :)"
Justin Bieber called into a radio show just hours after his breakup with Selena Gomez became headline news.
He told the station: "I don't know what to say. I don't know what's going on in my life.. To even assess that it doesn't make sense 'cause I have not made any comment."
As for Gomez, she's focused on work and recently wrapped up work on the "Wizards of Waverly Place" reunion special.
Justin Bieber already donates $1 of every ticket sold on his Believe tour to charity, and now, he's decided to send the proceeds from his four New York shows to the recovery effort after Hurricane Sandy.
Justin said: "After talking with the team, I am proud to announce that for the four NYC area shows — the Jersey show, the Brooklyn show and two [Madison Square Garden shows], we are going to donate $1 to Hurricane Sandy relief. Thanks for helping us. #GIVEBACK."
Bieber is the latest star to give a hand to victims of Sandy. Lady Gaga donated $1 million to the Red Cross recovery effort. Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera and Billy Joel were just some of the musicians who performed on an NBC telethon that raised $23 million for the Red Cross.
Adele opened up about her weight and admitted that she won't be bullied into losing any of it.
In excerpts from her new biography, she opened up about her body and said: "I read a comment about me on YouTube that I thought would upset me -- 'Test pilot for pies' -- but I've always been a size 14-16 and been fine with it. I would only lose weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn't."
Adele also talked candidly in the book about the ex-boyfriend who inspired most of the songs on her "21" album.
She said: "It was the biggest deal in my entire life to date. He made me totally hungry. He was older, he was successful in his own right, whereas my boyfriends before were my age and not really doing much. He got me interested in film and literature and food and wine and traveling and politics and history and those were things I was never, ever interested in. I was interested in going clubbing and getting drunk."
"After, I just signed up for eHarmony. I can't put a photo of myself, so I don't get any e-mails! I must have written him about five or six letters at different stages and everything, but never sent. I've got a little box of stuff that reminds me of us and they're still in there."
Taylor Swift will help ring in the New Year as the headline act on "New Year's Rockin' Eve," which will feature a two-hour tribute to late host Dick Clark.
Swift will perform live in New York's Times Square on December 31st, just before the ball drops to bring in 2013.
The New Year's Eve special was hosted by Clark for four decades before his death in April at age 82. This year the show will once again be hosted again by Clark's co-host - Ryan Seacrest. The show will be called "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest".
The night will kick off with a two-hour tribute to Clark that will feature clips of Clark's long career, and remembrances by musicians and industry celebrities. The 5-1/2 hour show will also feature other musical guests that will be announced soon.
Kelly Clarkson admitted she has a thick skin when it comes to criticism over her appearance and she gave credit to her small town upbringing for giving her a harder shell.
She said: "I'm from a small town, so even before all of this there have always been people going, 'You should wear this!' 'You're too thin!' 'You're too big.' 'You should say this!' 'You should sing this song!' 'You should do this!' There's always people putting their two cents in, so I'm used to that. I guess what I just can't get past is that I don't know if I'm just a self-involved person or whatever, but I don't care that much about others to be like, 'I think you need to do that!'"
Lady Gaga was recently criticized for having a fuller figure and those types of criticisms left Kelly scratching her head.
She said: "I work out sometimes and other times I don't. The funny part to me, with like the Lady Gagas and the Jessica Simpsons -- everybody's on them. It's like 'Y'all, sometimes people just wanna have pizza and drink and celebrate,' and then sometimes people get really into athleticism and working out and sports and I guess I find it funny because I've never actually never cared about another individual enough to be like, 'I feel like you're tubbier than usual.' Everyone has mirrors. We know, we're aware. When we have to go buy bigger jeans we're aware, or when we buy smaller jeans we're aware."
Kelly said Lady Gaga is teeny-tiny in real life and she respects her strength.
She said: "People act like she gains 10 pounds or something and it's like she's dying and she's obese and that's ridiculous. Lady Gaga's one of the smallest people I've ever met in my life. She's actually Tinker Bell-like. She's a pretty strong individual. She'll probably fight back with some funny little quip.
"But I think what's cool for girls to see is other girls going, 'Hey! You know what? This is what I'm wearing right now and I'm cool with this. I'm not unhealthy, I'm not obese.' I think for all girls like the Jessicas of the world or the Lady Gagas or me or Adele or Jennifer Hudson, whatever people wanna do with their lives, that's their life and I just don't understand why people care so much."
Rihanna returned to "Saturday Night Live" for the fourth time over the weekend and performed two songs off her new "Unapologetic" album.
Rih Rih performed "Diamonds", then closed the show with a new song called "Stay."
Madonna was doing a show in Michigan when she expressed her happiness for President Obama being re-elected.
She told the crowd: "It's no secret that I'm ecstatically happy to be here tonight. I'm ecstatically happy Obama is our president. Let's embrace him. Let's be happy."
She got mostly cheers but also enough boos to be heard on the stage.
She said: "I love you too, crowd. What's so great about the United States of America is we live in a democracy. You can boo all you want, but I've been around the world, and there are a lot of countries out there fighting for that right. Whether you got who you want or not in the White House, at least you had the privilege of voting. That's what makes the United States of America great. We can choose, don't be haters."
Rihanna is helping out the victims of Hurricane Sandy. She's donating $100,000 to the Food Bank for New York City to help the recovery effort.
She said: "It's really difficult to see something so tragic going on and not be able to do anything about it. There's nothing you can control, it's Mother Nature. It's really sad what happened here. Everybody's asked to donate blankets and bleach. They want cleaning supplies, brooms, sleeping bags. And they get to listen to the album if they donate that stuff."
Those items will be packed into a truck and delivered to sections of the city that are still digging out from the destruction.

In the biggest surprise of the night, Rihanna, who had gone into the EMAs as a favorite with six nominations, was shut out and didn’t win a single trophy.

Rapper Sammy Adams has remixed Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble.”

Elton John and his partner David Furnish are "over the moon" that their surrogate is pregnant again and they could be parents for a second time!
Elton and Furnish already have a son, Zachary Furnish-John, who was born in 2010 from the same surrogate. She's set to give birth again next year.
A source close to the couple told the UK's Sun: "They are over the moon. Elton and David love this lady like a sister and they feel indebted to her for life. Naturally she has been well rewarded. But her identity will never be revealed."
A former New York firefighter with a crush on Madonna was convicted for resisting arrest outside her former apartment building as he spray-painted poster boards with love notes.
The guy got arrested in 2010 after he parked his SUV outside Madonna's apartment, laid out a tarp and wrote out messages like, "Madonna, I need you."
The jury decided that while it was okay for him to express himself to the Material Girl, he still resisted arrest by flailing his arms. He could face up to a year in jail.
Paul McCartney and Yoko Ono will be collaborating on a new music project. They both sing on a new soundtrack for Judd Apatow's new movie, "This Is 40".
Ono performs a track called "I'm Your Angel", while McCartney sings "Lunch Box Old Sox".
News of the project came just one week after McCartney revealed that Ono wasn't the reason The Beatles broke up.
RELATED: Yoko Ono Thanked Paul McCartney For Saying She Didn't Split Up The Beatles

Yoko Ono thanked Paul McCartney for saying she didn't split up The Beatles.
She thanked McCartney for finally putting the issue to rest and described him as a "brave man".
In an interview, Ono said: "I thought people knew that I was not responsible, but surprisingly, many people still felt that. He was very brave. So I'd like to say 'Thank you, Paul. I love you, we love you'."
Last month, McCartney explained that Ono's relationship with John Lennon was not the main reason why the band ended.
He said: "She certainly didn't break the group up, the group was breaking up. When Yoko came along, part of her attraction was her avant garde side, her view of things, so she showed him another way to be, which was very attractive to him. So it was time for John to leave, he was definitely going to leave one way or another."

Aviation officials in the UK launched an investigation after Paul McCartney came within seconds of disaster when the helicopter he was in plunged towards the ground.
The Beatles legend was traveling back to his home in England from an event with his wife Nancy Shevell. That was when the helicopter pilot got disorientated in the bad weather.
The helicopter was attempting to touch down on McCartney's private helipad, but instead, it plummeted towards trees.
The pilot pulled up at the last minute and flew to a nearby airport.
The Beatles are dropping vinyl versions of their remastered studio albums with a double-decker bus shop.
The custom-made mobile record store will stop in New York and the Capital Records building in Los Angeles tomorrow.
The bus will have all 14 stereo LPs - the 12 UK originals and the B-sides and rarities collection "Past Masters Volumes One & Two". They will be available individually or in a box set that includes a hardbound book.
Also, The Beatles double-decker bus shop will have CD versions of the albums, DVD and Blu-ray copies of "Magical Mystery Tour" and "Yellow Submarine" and a unique t-shirt made exclusively for each city.
