A disabled woman, whois a professor of medicine at UC Irvine, has filed a lawsuit against Johnny Depp.

She claims that the actor's bodyguards assaulted her at an Iggy Pop concert at the Hollywood Palladium Theater last year.

The papers go on to claim that the bodyguards pried her cell phone from her hand "one finger at a time," put her in handcuffs and dragged her away, during which time her pants fell off.

ShowBiz: TV News:  'THE VOICE': BLAKE SHELTON, CHRISTINA AGUILERA ELIMINATE PLAYERS [2012-04-17 01:00:00]

Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera's team met in "The Voice"'s quarterfinals Monday.

Both mentors were to immediately eliminate one of their mentees at the end of the night – but not before taking the stage to perform with their team.

Team Blake:

Teen country sensation RaeLynn performed a rendition of Jason Aldean's "Country Girl".   Blake told her: "This is the most proud moment I've had this whole season. ... You just proved to America that country can kick ass."

Team Blake's Jermaine Paul performed Phil Collins's "Against All Odds."  Christina Aguilera called him her 'favorite'.

Blake agreed, saying he believed the performance would be a "turning point" for Jermaine.

Team Christina:

Ashley De La Rosa performed a rock version of Jewel's "Foolish Games." Blake said that Christina saving Ashley a couple of weeks ago was "the smartest decision that's been made this year."

Later, Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera each took the stage with their four remaining team members, with Team Christina performing Aguilera's hit "Fighter," and Team Blake tackling the Eagles's "Heartache Tonight."

Adam Levine joined his Maroon 5 on stage – along with Wiz Khalifa – to debut their new single, "Payphone."

When it finally came time for the eliminations, both Shelton and Aguilera struggled with their decisions.

Blake chose to eliminate Jordis Unga based on audience votes two weeks ago that placed her in the bottom three.

Christina Aguilera chose to let Jesse Campbell go.

After Campbell's performance of Beyoncé's "Halo" earlier in the evening, which he dedicated to his daughter, Adam Levine told him he was a "huge, huge favorite" to win the entire competition. Whoops.

Audience votes announced on tonight's episode of "The Voice" will determine which of the remaining six contestants from Team Christina and Team Blake will stay in the competition.

Whitney Houston's mom said the chances of Rihanna her daughter in a movie about her are slim and none.

Cissy said: "Over my dead body!”

According to a source: “Cissy believes Rihanna celebrates everything she hated about Whitney’s life — the drugging, the boxing, the abusive relationship. Cissy does not think Whitney should be represented by someone like Rihanna. In spite of what anyone thought about Whitney, she sees her as a God-fearing Christian who loved the Lord.

"Cissy said IF there is a movie made about Whitney, she would insist on approving the actress. And Rihanna certainly would NOT be on the list.”
