A waiter recently got stiffed on their tip from a surprising customer - a Pastor.
The man came in with a large party and it’s the restaurant's policy to include an automatic 18% tip on the bill with a group that large. The man crossed out the automatic tip and wrote: “I give God 10%, why do you get 18%?” and instead put a zero for the tip amount. He then was sure to sign “Pastor” before his name on the check.
The server had no complaints from the party about their service, it was just the issue of not wanting to leave a tip.
