Dear Donnie,
My daughter came home with a birthday party sleepover invitation last week. I went to RSVP and noticed a boys name on the invitation. I asked her, just to make sure and it was a boy in her class. They are only 8 years old, but still!
I've heard her mention his name before and this is a boy that she apparently is very close to at school. My husband says NO WAY, but she wants to go so badly. I called this boys mother & she says 2 other girls from the class are going to be there. I thought about letting her go for a little bit, and just not staying the night. But her heart is set on staying because the sleepover is the most exciting part for her. Am I making something out of nothing? Is this appropriate when kids are so young?
