Dear Donnie,

   This is our first year together as a blended family for Christmas. I have a 7 yr old Daughter and My husband has 2 sons, 11 & 5. His sons will be with their mother on Christmas morning and won't come over to our house until 1pm. My husband seems to think we shoud hold off opening presents until we are all together. That is going to KILL my daughter!! It is the anticipation of Christmas morning that we look forward to most! He keeps saying that we will bond more as a family if we open together, he says it will show his son's that they are so important in the family that we will wait for them, but I think he's really being ridiculous. What should I tell him? I have no intention of making her wait to open her gift.
