DON'T NEGLECT YOUR TURN SIGNAL
Drivers either neglect to use their signals when changing lanes-- or fail to turn the signals off-- 48% of the time. And when people make a turn, they fail to signal 25% of the time. That works out to 2 billion times a day that drivers fail to use signals, or 750 billion times annually. The study says the problem causes about 2 million crashes every year. According to a study, if every American were to take the citizenship exam, more than a third would fail. 77% of Americans think we should all be able to pass it, and 60% think it should be required to receive a high school diploma.
