As a group here at the station, we've been working out together for three years. I worked with a trainer for a year on my own prior to the challenge and still can't get into the groove of working out. I feel the need to work out, but not the desire. I SEE the need to work out, I should say!
Tomorrow will be my first workout in 7 days!!! I've stayed on the diet though….with just a slight detour on Saturday night. I had steak cooked in butter with a nice hollandaise sauce that went straight to my tummy! Oh and bread…bread is good. However, since Sunday I've been back on the chicken diet with a lot of water. I'm up to 7 or 8 bottles a day as long as I eat on schedule. I wish you luck on this adventure of ours….my stomach will be bigger than the moon if I don't get this under control.
Yesterday I was on the verge of falling off the wagon, but I got past the carb cravings with some soup. Chicken Noodle from Jason's Deli….Breakfast was coffee and an egg Mcmuffin. I know that sounds not diet like, but I'm told that the Egg Mcmuffin is fine to eat. I removed the top bun and only eat half of the bread.
For lunch I had three scrambled eggs and half a piece of whole grain bread.
Dinner was a grilled chicken breast with green chili and a salad. Throughout the day I had 5 bottles of water.
Yesterday was day one of working out and eating for our challenge with Laura George. I started the day with a Venti Blonde (with one sugar and some half-N-half) and almonds. Then a scrambled egg sandwich on whole grain bread.
After the workout for lunch I had a salad with two grilled chicken breast. Dinner was red chili chicken with cottage cheese and tomatoes. Then in a moment of extreme weakness I had about two bites of Milk Chocolate. Throughout the day I had five 16oz bottles of water.
